Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Sheffield United.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou is facing selection dilemmas over some of his international players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Sheffield United in North London.

The Lilywhites are guaranteed to be without surgical victims Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Bryan Gil (groin), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Alfie Whiteman (ankle), while Giovani Lo Celso is out due to a thigh strain.

Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero both overcame niggles during the international break, but the former must reacclimatise to life in England following a long journey back from South America, while Richarlison also turned out for Brazil this month.

The attacker did not complete the full 90 minutes in either game against Bolivia or Peru, and he burst into tears after being taken off against the former before revealing that he is seeking psychological help after a difficult few months off the field.

Whether Richarlison is deemed ready to play on Saturday remains to be seen, but he was named on the bench against Burnley two weeks ago owing to a knock, allowing Manor Solomon to set up two of Son's three goals at Turf Moor.

Solomon has certainly made his case to hold his spot alongside James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, while captain Son will likely be thrust straight back into the first XI if he is fit enough, as new arrivals Alejo Veliz and Brennan Johnson hope for debuts off the bench.

The impressive Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma are untouchable in the engine room, and the same can be said for Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario in the back line.

With Davinson Sanchez departing for Galatasaray on a permanent deal, Postecoglou will likely have no choice but to name Romero in the first XI, although Ben Davies and Ashley Phillips are wildcard options to partner Micky van de Ven.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Solomon; Son
