Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is named the Football Supporters' Federation Men's Player of the Year for 2017.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been named Men's Player of the Year for 2017 by the Football Supporters' Federation.

The 24-year-old has scored 47 goals in 46 games for his club and England in the calendar year.

Kane is currently second in the list of Premier League top scorers having racked up 10 top-flight goals, two fewer than current leader, Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah.

After winning the award, the striker, who was not present at the FSF ceremony, said: "It's something I'm extremely proud to receive. To have all the support from fans all across the country is mind-blowing really, so thank you.

"Of course, it's been a good year for me - picking up the Golden Boot and scoring the winning goals to send England to the World Cup are things I'm extremely proud of."

Kane was the league's top scorer in the last two seasons.
