Southampton's Dusan Tadic: 'No mistakes allowed at this level'

Dusan Tadic says that Southampton cannot afford to make mistakes after individual errors led to Saturday's defeat to Manchester City.

Dusan Tadic has claimed that Southampton need to cut out their mistakes following their defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.

Ronald Koeman's side were on the losing end of a 3-1 scoreline at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Individual errors played a part as Maya Yoshida was at fault for allowing Raheem Sterling to nick the ball off him and pass to Kevin De Bruyne, who scored the opening goal in the ninth minute.

"When you make some small mistakes against this kind of teams it's really hard and they will punish you," the Daily Echo quotes Tadic as saying.

"I think we need to learn a lot of things from this game. Even the smallest of mistakes, you can't have them."

The Saints are currently 10th in the Premier League table, seven points off a Champions League spot.
