Thursday's La Liga predictions including Granada vs. Real Madrid

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Thursday's La Liga fixtures, including Granada vs. Real Madrid.

Real Valladolid vs. Villarreal (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Two sides in desperate need of three points for entirely different reasons prepare for battle on Thursday night as Real Valladolid play host to Villarreal in La Liga.

The hosts' survival hopes were dealt a blow with a crushing 3-0 defeat to Valencia last time out, while Villarreal's Europa League aspirations were damaged by a 4-2 loss to Celta Vigo.

We say: Real Valladolid 1-2 Villarreal

Neither Real Valladolid nor Villarreal come into this match with the wind in their sails, and both sides may view this clash as their last opportunity to post a win on the board before their taxing final games.

A well-rested duo of Moreno and Paco Alcacer should have no trouble breaking down the hosts' leaky defence, though, and we expect Villarreal to boost their European bid at the expense of Valladolid's survival hopes.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Eibar vs. Real Betis (Thursday, 7.00pm)

Seeking their third win in as many matches, bottom-of-the-table Eibar welcome La Liga's resident draw specialists Real Betis to the Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Thursday night.

The hosts marched to a 1-0 win over Getafe last time out, whereas Betis' run of stalemates ended with a 2-1 success over Granada on Monday night.

We say: Eibar 0-1 Real Betis

Eibar and their new-found defensive resilience could yet be plying their trade in La Liga next season, but Pellegrini's men may just have that touch of added quality which will help get them over the line.

The hosts will not make it easy for Betis, who have flattered to deceive on the road recently, but the visitors could confirm a spot in Europe this week and will not want to pass up that opportunity.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Granada vs. Real Madrid (Thursday, 9.00pm)

With their La Liga title destiny now out of their own hands, Real Madrid will endeavour to keep their hopes of glory alive when they travel to Granada on Thursday night.

The hosts fell to a 2-1 defeat to Real Betis on Monday night, while Zinedine Zidane's crop lost ground in the title race with a 2-2 draw against fellow high-flyers Sevilla.

We say: Granada 1-3 Real Madrid

A ravaged Blancos backline should see Granada play without fear against Zidane's title-chasers, as the hosts - who are bedevilled by injuries themselves - realistically have very little to play for in their final three games.

However, Madrid's prowess away from home has been evident throughout the campaign, and anything other than a win here will leave their title defence in tatters, so we can only back the visitors to march to a convincing three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
