Team News: Joe Ralls starts against Nottingham Forest after late fitness test

Joe Ralls passes a late fitness test to start for Cardiff City against Nottingham Forest.

Joe Ralls will start for Cardiff City in their final Championship game of the season at Nottingham Forest after shaking off a knock picked up in the victory over Blackpool last weekend.

Ben Turner also returns for the Bluebirds in defence at the expense of Bruno Ecuele Manga, while Stuart O'Keefe is recalled by manager Russell Slade.

City also keep faith with Eoin Doyle alongside Joe Mason in attack after the ex-Chesterfield forward scored a brace of penalties in the 3-2 win against the Tangerines.

Meanwhile, Forest boss Dougie Freedman has included midfielder Gary Gardner is what will be his last game for the club before returning to parent club Aston Villa.

Andy Reid, Matty Fryatt, Britt Assombalonga and Chris Cohen are all out injured for the Reds, but Freedman continues with Dexter Blackstock in attack against Cardiff while Chuba Akpom drops to the bench.

Nottingham Forest: Darlow, Kane, Vaughan, Mancienne, Antonio, Hobbs, Lansbury, Gardner, Burke, Lascelles, Blackstock

Cardiff City: Marshall, Peltier, Morrison, Turner, Fabio, O'Keefe, Gunnarsson, Ralls, Kennedy, Mason, Doyle
