Thomas Muller to Manchester United after bust-up with Pep Guardiola?

Manchester United will reportedly exploit the rift between Thomas Muller and Pep Guardiola to sign the German striker in the summer.

Manchester United are hoping to prise Thomas Muller away from Bayern Munich after the player's argument with Pep Guardiola, according to reports.

The German international had a heated exchange with Guardiola after he was substituted against Barcelona on Wednesday, and this has prompted United to renew their interest.

Louis van Gaal is to looking move for the 25-year-old, reports The Mirror, having given the forward his debut for Bayern during his spell in charge.

Muller would cost United around £40m. They have failed on two occasions to sign him within the last year.

The World Cup-winning forward signed a four-year contract at Bayern back in January.
