Manchester United interested in re-signing Nani?

Manchester United are reportedly considering a shock move to re-sign former winger Nani from Fenerbahce this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly considering bringing former winger Nani back to Old Trafford this summer.

The 29-year-old spent seven years with United from 2007 to 2014 before joining Sporting on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.

Nani joined Fenerbahce in a permanent deal last summer, but Turkey's Dogan News Agency claims that new United boss Jose Mourinho is interested in a return for his compatriot.

The report goes on to say that Nani has an €8m (£6.3m) release clause in his contract at Fener, which United are considering activating following a disappointing debut campaign for Memphis Depay at the club.

Nani scored 40 goals in 229 appearances during his previous stint with the Red Devils.
