Manchester United have no plans to re-sign Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo next summer, according to a report.

Manchester United reportedly have no intention of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo despite the recent widespread speculation surrounding the attacker's future.

The 35-year-old still has another 18 months left to run on his contract in Turin, but Juventus are allegedly open to allowing the forward to leave next summer due to his substantial wages.

A recent report claimed that United had made a formal offer for the Portugal international as they looked to bring him back to Old Trafford during next summer's transfer window.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the 20-time English champions 'have no plans' to move for the forward in 2021.

United have allegedly 'laughed off suggestions' that the former Sporting Lisbon youngster could be set to return to the club that he represented between 2003 and 2009 before joining Real Madrid.

Ronaldo has scored 71 times in 94 appearances for Juve since arriving from Spain, including six goals in five appearances this season despite a spell on the sidelines due to coronavirus.

Paris Saint-Germain also continue to be strongly linked with the Portuguese.
