Italian giants Juventus reportedly expect five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club this summer.

Italian giants Juventus reportedly expect five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club this summer.

The 36-year-old forward has entered the final year of his contract in Turin and has been linked with a return to former clubs Real Madrid and Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports News, Juve have not received a single offer from any club to sign Ronaldo this summer and they remain confident that he will stay this season.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with the Portuguese international between 2013 and 2015, insists that he has "never considered" bringing him back to the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo himself has also spoken out about the recent speculation surrounding his future and took to Instagram to hit out at the "frivolous" and "disrespectful" coverage by the media.

Los Blancos sold Ronaldo to Juventus in July 2018 for just over £100m, and he has since won two Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia with the Turin-based outfit.

Ronaldo has also made 133 appearances across all competitions for Juve, scoring 101 goals and providing 22 assists.
