Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly will not allow Diogo Dalot to leave despite the defender's lack of game time at Old Trafford.

Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot is reportedly frustrated with his situation at Old Trafford, but the former Porto man is not being allowed to depart.

The defender was restricted to a mere 11 appearances across all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign and looked set to move on after falling down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

A recent report suggested that Ed Woodward is looking to offload Dalot for a sizeable figure of £20m during the transfer window, with the Red Devils looking to secure the services of another defender as well as Jadon Sancho in the near future.

However, speaking on the Transfer Window podcast, Duncan Castles claimed that United are blocking Dalot's exit, much to the 21-year-old's frustration.

The Portuguese is said to be aggrieved at his lack of game time with United and wants to move to a club that can guarantee him more first-team action, with Ligue 1 side Lille already believed to have had a bid rejected.

Dalot is under contract at Old Trafford until the end of the 2022-23 season.
