Manchester City are reportedly preparing to enter the race to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish during the summer transfer window.

Manchester City have reportedly identified Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish as a potential summer signing.

The playmaker has made a huge impression for the West Midlands outfit this season, contributing seven goals and five assists from 23 starts in the Premier League.

Despite being at his boyhood club, the 24-year-old is being tipped to move to a bigger team later in 2020, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United all said to be monitoring the situation.

However, Bleacher Report claims that Man City may involve themselves in the race for the Englishman's signature as Pep Guardiola targets fresh faces.

While Phil Foden is expected to replace David Silva, Grealish could be viewed as another option to the veteran Spaniard, who will leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the campaign.

With Grealish still having just under three-and-a-half years left on his contract, Villa will likely demand in excess of £60m for his signature.
