Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer held 'crisis talks' with Harry Maguire, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic on Thursday, according to a report.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly held 'crisis talks' with Harry Maguire, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic on Thursday.

The Red Devils have lost four of their last six Premier League matches, recording just one win in the process, which has piled the pressure on their head coach.

According to the Daily Mail, Solskjaer held a 10am meeting on Thursday with Maguire, Ronaldo, Fernandes, Shaw, Lindelof and Matic to discuss the team's current issues.

The report claims that the Norwegian wanted their opinion on the recent change to a back three and asked whether any of the players had suggestions about how the team could overcome their struggles.

Man United are preparing to resume their Premier League season away to Watford on Saturday afternoon before travelling to Villarreal in the Champions League next week.

Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane will definitely miss out against the Hornets, while Shaw, Scott McTominay and Edinson Cavani are major doubts for the contest.
