Jose Mourinho plans Gary Neville, Brian Kidd talks?

Gary Neville and Brian Kidd are reportedly under consideration for roles within Jose Mourinho's coaching team at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided to try to entice Gary Neville and Brian Kidd back to Manchester United.

Following last night's sacking of Louis van Gaal, it is widely expected that Mourinho will be appointed United's new manager by the end of the week.

One outlet has claimed that the Portuguese boss is eager to bring long-term assistant Rui Faria with him to Old Trafford, but with regards to the rest of his coaching staff, Mourinho is said to be open minded.

According to The Sun, the 53-year-old is also keen to include people that are in tune with the club's traditions.

The report adds that is why Mourinho is planning discussions with current England coach Neville, who came through the ranks to make 602 appearances for the Red Devils.

As for Manchester City coach Kidd, he spent seven years with United as a player and also assisted Sir Alex Ferguson for much of the 1990s.

News of Mourinho's supposed interest in the duo has come after speculation claimed that Van Gaal's assistant and club legend Ryan Giggs had been offered a downgraded role within the new setup.
