Real Madrid are reportedly determined to sign Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah in this summer's transfer window.

Real Madrid are desperate to sign Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah in this summer's transfer window, according to French journalist Philippe Carayon.

Madrid are widely expected to seal a move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard after the Europa League final, while the European champions have also reportedly secured the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic.

However, according to Carayon, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is also determined to bring Liverpool's Salah to the Bernabeu in this summer's transfer window.

"Concerning Real Madrid and its reconstruction, after Hazard, Zidane and Real want another big striker," Carayon told Canal+. "It is Mohamed Salah. This is, after Hazard, their other priority.

"They want to build a super big trio of attack. We know that [Zidane] does not want any more of [Gareth] Bale. With Salah, it flows naturally."

Salah, who has scored 26 times in 51 appearances for the Reds during the 2018-19 campaign, has managed an impressive 70 goals in 103 games for the Merseyside giants since completing a switch from Roma in the summer of 2017.
