A report claims that Philippe Coutinho has played his last game for Liverpool but will not join Barcelona for less than £133m.

Philippe Coutinho has played his last game for Liverpool ahead of a potential British-record move to Barcelona, according to reports.

The Catalan giants have held a long-standing interest in Coutinho and failed with three big-money bids for the Brazilian last summer.

The 25-year-old also made it clear that he wanted a move to Camp Nou, handing the Reds a transfer request, but the club insisted that their star player was not going anywhere.

However, the Daily Mail claims that Liverpool have had a shift in attitude and are now willing to part ways with the former Inter Milan attacker, who is out injured at present.

The report then goes on to suggest that only an offer upwards of £133m will persuade Liverpool to do business in this window and offload a player who has been instrumental to their recent good form.

Coutinho has made 20 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and creating nine more.
