Wednesday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Roma

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Roma.

Cagliari vs. Fiorentina (Wednesday, 5.30pm)

Seeking to end their seasons with a flourish, Cagliari welcome Fiorentina to the Sardegna Arena for Wednesday evening's battle in Serie A.

The hosts maintained their strong run with a 3-1 triumph at Benevento, while Fiorentina's meeting with Lazio ended in a surprise 2-0 success for the Viola.

We say: Cagliari 2-2 Fiorentina

Cagliari's games are never usually boring affairs since they rediscovered their golden touch, but the Isolani would do well to quell the threat of Vlahovic on their own turf.

However, the hosts' prowess at the other end of the pitch is not to be underestimated either, and we can envisage the two bottom-half sides cancelling each other out in a high-scoring affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Inter Milan vs. Roma (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Champions Inter Milan welcome Roma to San Siro on Wednesday, having showed no signs of taking their foot off the gas since securing their 19th Scudetto.

While their visitors ended a disastrous spell with successive wins and the surprise appointment of Inter legend Jose Mourinho as their new manager, the Nerazzurri turned on the style to add another game to their long unbeaten streak.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Roma

Antonio Conte's 100th game in charge of Inter should see his 63rd win, as even on cruise mode, the Nerazzurri have far too much firepower for an injury-hit visiting side.

Roma have stabilised somewhat since seeing their season sink down the plughole in recent weeks, but they are still defensively suspect and have struggled away from their capital headquarters in 2020-21.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Torino vs. AC Milan (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Following their weekend success in Turin, top-four chasing AC Milan now hope to claim back-to-back wins in the city, as they meet a Torino side still battling for Serie A survival.

While the Rossoneri saw off Il Toro's more illustrious city rivals to climb to third in the standings, Wednesday's hosts continued a run of form which has seen them inch away from the drop zone.

We say: Torino 0-1 AC Milan

Though they are in equal need of the points and are in better medium-term form heading into this contest, Torino may be facing Milan at just the wrong time.

Thanks to their varied attacking options - and with most of their key men finally back to full fitness - the Rossoneri can eke out a third win from three this season against Turin's second side: sealing their second success in the Piedmontese capital within the space of four days.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sassuolo vs. Juventus (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Following a humbling home defeat at the weekend, deposed champions Juventus visit eighth-placed Sassuolo on Wednesday evening, with maximum points a necessity.

Now with just three games left to go, both clubs are still battling for a place in Europe - the hosts being back in the race due to some fine late-season form, while Juve are in danger of missing out on a Champions League berth.

We say: Sassuolo 2-2 Juventus

As there is much to play for - but with all the pressure resting on Juve's shoulders - an absorbing contest could unfold at the Mapei Stadium.

A serious off-night for the Bianconeri's attacking department on Sunday surely cannot reoccur, so they can take advantage of Sassuolo's adventurous approach - though not necessarily be able to stem an incoming tide at the other end.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Bologna vs. Genoa (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Bologna host Genoa in Serie A on Wednesday, with the visitors looking to seal their top-flight survival for a 14th successive season.

The hosts, meanwhile, are chasing a top-half finish, with 10th-placed Hellas Verona three points ahead of them in the table.

We say: Bologna 2-1 Genoa

We can envisage Bologna moving closer to the top half with a narrow win on Wednesday.

It is likely to be an open, entertaining affair, with both sides capable of scoring and conceding goals in the blink of an eye.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Lazio vs. Parma (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

With any hopes of a top-four finish now surely dead in the water, Lazio prepare for battle against already-relegated Parma in Wednesday's Serie A clash.

Both sides suffered demoralising defeats at the weekend, as Simone Inzaghi's men fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Fiorentina while Parma's losing streak continued against Atalanta.

We say: Lazio 2-0 Parma

Lazio could hardly have been handed a friendlier fixture as they bid to end the season with a flourish, and their astonishing record against Parma speaks for itself.

The Biancocelesti's perfect home record in 2021 should not be under any threat of coming to an end whatsoever here - this should be a routine win for Inzaghi's crop.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sampdoria vs. Spezia (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Sampdoria host Spezia in Serie A on Wednesday, with the visitors looking to remain outside of the relegation places by gaining a positive result.

The home team, meanwhile, are looking to secure a fourth top-half finish in the last five seasons.

We say: Sampdoria 2-1 Spezia

We expect Sampdoria to be a little too strong for Spezia, who will undoubtedly put up a good fight as they always do under Italiano.

In reality, though, no outcome here would come as a surprise, especially with Spezia having more at stake to fight for on the day.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Atalanta vs. Benevento (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Top-four contenders Atalanta BC welcome relegation-threatened Benevento to the Gewiss Stadium on Wednesday, with both sides in need of points for very different reasons.

While La Dea are battling it out with several sides to seal their third successive Champions League qualification, former Bergamaschi striker Pippo Inzaghi brings his team to Lombardy with time running out to beat the drop.

We say: Atalanta BC 3-1 Benevento

Given the vast gulf in terms of form and playing resources between these two teams, only one outcome can be expected at the Gewiss Stadium.

An abundance of creative and goalscoring options seamlessly rotate in and out of Atalanta's starting side - plus their well-utilised substitutes bench - while Benevento bring a sieve-like defence to the slaughter on Wednesday, as their top-flight status continues to ebb away.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
