Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Lazio

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Lazio.

Roma vs. Udinese (Sunday, 11.30am)

Still unbeaten at home this season, Roma welcome in-form Udinese to Stadio Olimpico on Sunday afternoon, seeking to bounce back from another defeat to a major rival.

The Giallorossi's loss to Juventus last week was one of several against teams around them in the Serie A standings, but now they tackle mid-table opposition who have recently recovered from a rocky run at the end of 2020.

We say: Roma 2-1 Udinese

Though there is just cause to consider the case of improving Udinese to at least nick a point at the Olimpico, the excellent record of Roma on home turf is indicative of their formidable form in the capital.

Should Edin Dzeko reclaim his place at the heart of the attack - and with other integral attacking personnel returning from enforced absences this week - the hosts have enough guile and variety to prise open the visitors' increasingly mean defence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cagliari vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Seeking a first win since November, Cagliari meet Atalanta BC for the third time this season on Sunday at the Sardegna Arena.

The visitors celebrated progress to the Coppa Italia final in midweek, while Eusebio Di Francesco's abject home side have been suffering from their worst form in a decade.

We say: Cagliari 0-2 Atalanta BC

Atalanta are well-placed to heap more misery on their hosts this weekend, as both their away record and goals tally speak for themselves.

Potentially matching up like-for-like in terms of formation, this could be an entertaining watch and one ultimately decided by La Dea's greater collective quality in the final third.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Sampdoria vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Two of Serie A's sleeping giants go head-to-head when Sampdoria host Fiorentina on Sunday.

Having regularly competed in Europe not so long ago, both clubs have found themselves slipping down the table in recent years, although Sampdoria have at least climbed into the top half in recent weeks.

We say: Sampdoria 2-1 Fiorentina

Sampdoria have been pretty strong at home in the early stages of 2021, so we can see them gaining a narrow victory to cement their position in the top half.

Fiorentina lack adventure under Prandelli, so it may require a more attacking system implemented by the 63-year-old for a positive result.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Crotone vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Sassuolo travel to face bottom side Crotone at Stadio Ezio Scida on Sunday, with the two teams near the foot of the Serie A form table following miserable results since the turn of the year.

The visitors are now winless in five straight games, while their hosts seek to end a three-match losing streak and stay in touch with their fellow relegation battlers.

We say: Crotone 1-3 Sassuolo

An ideal opportunity for Domenico Berardi to bed back into the Sassuolo lineup presents itself at Stadio Ezio Scida, and even at less than his peak powers, the Italy international's combinations with Ciccio Caputo in attack should prove a class apart from the hosts' dodgy defence.

It is hard to see where Crotone - who face champions Juventus next - will pick up their next points from, as their propensity for calamitous errors at the back shows no sign of improvement.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Inter Milan vs. Lazio (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Currently one of Europe's most in-form sides, Lazio travel to San Siro to meet top-four rivals Inter Milan on Sunday evening.

The Nerazzurri will seek to quickly get over the disappointment of missing out in the Coppa Italia semi-finals during the week, while their resurgent visitors want to claim a seventh consecutive win in the league.

We say: Inter Milan 2-2 Lazio

In a finely-balanced fixture, all possible outcomes could occur - as Inter's bulldozing home form comes up against Lazio's stunning start to 2021.

The visitors' red-hot front line can certainly breach the Nerazzurri's increasingly miserly defence at least once, but Romelu Lukaku is due to get back on the scoresheet after firing a few rare blanks and could rescue a valuable point for the hosts.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
