Chelsea 'eyeing £20m Seamus Coleman' from Everton

Chelsea will move for Everton's £20m-rated right-back Seamus Coleman, according to reports.

Chelsea are preparing a reported £20m bid to sign full-back Seamus Coleman from Premier League rivals Everton.

According to the Daily Express, Jose Mourinho is a confirmed admirer of the 26-year-old Republic of Ireland International, who has earned a reputation as one of the best right-backs in the English game.

Everton are mindful of Coleman's possible future departure and are thought to have scouted potential replacements for defender.

Among those being watched are Barcelona's Martin Montoya and Rochdale's 23-year-old star Rhys Bennett.

Coleman featured for Everton in their 2-1 win over West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday.
