Marina Granovskaia 'to be offered chance to stay on at Chelsea'

Chelsea's four prospective buyers reportedly all offer director Marina Granovskaia the chance to stay at the club after Roman Abramovich's exit.

Chelsea's four prospective buyers all want to keep director Marina Granovskaia at the club, according to a report.

The 47-year-old arrived in London back in 2003 with owner Roman Abramovich, who remains under sanctions by the UK Government following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Abramovich has therefore been forced to conduct a quickfire sale of the club, and Granovskaia's future in West London has been shrouded in uncertainty ahead of Thursday's bidding deadline.

However, The Athletic reports that all four parties - Sir Martin Broughton's consortium, the Ricketts family, Todd Boehly's consortium and Stephen Pagliuca - will offer Granovskaia the chance to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The report adds that Granovskaia is yet to give any commitment to the prospective buyers, though, and she is unlikely to change that stance before the sale is concluded.

Granovskaia has worked alongside Abramovich for 25 years and was awarded the Best Club Director in European football award at the Golden Boy Awards last year.
