Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter tests positive for coronavirus and will miss Sunday's Premier League game away at Leicester City.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 46-year-old will be unable to attend Sunday's Premier League fixture against Leicester City, with assistant Billy Reid to take charge of the team at the King Power Stadium.

Brighton Women's head coach Hope Powell contracted the virus earlier this week, though the men's team have been training in separate bubbles to the women's side.

Speaking to the press on Friday, Reid said: "Graham will be linked up at home on Sunday. He had a rough last night and tested positive this morning.

"I was a manager in Scotland so I know what to expect. Nothing will change too much, we'll try and keep things normal.

"Myself and Graham deal with the team. Bruno deals with attacking stuff and Bjorn [Hamberg] the defensive stuff. It's absolutely a collaborative effort."

Reid also revealed at his press conference that club captain Lewis Dunk could make the matchday squad if he comes through tomorrow's training session unscathed, while Shane Duffy and Adam Lallana have been ruled out due to injury.

Brighton will be looking to extend their unbeaten run across all competitions to seven matches when they face Leicester this weekend.
