Team News: Eoin Doyle, Stevie May join Joe Garner in Preston North End attack

Preston North End boss Simon Grayson picks new signings Eoin Doyle and Stevie May alongside last season's top scorer Joe Garner for their trip to Brentford.

Preston North End boss Simon Grayson has picked new signings Eoin Doyle and Stevie May alongside last season's top scorer Joe Garner for their trip to Brentford.

Garner, who has failed to find the net this season, keeps his place in a three-pronged attack for the Lilywhites, but Paul Gallacher is missing with a calf problem.

Kyel Reid and Jordan Hugill have returned to training with North End, but neither is included in Grayson's matchday squad.

Meanwhile, Brentford head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen has resisted the urge to start with youngsters Ryan Woods and Sergi Canos, who remain on the bench despite a growing injury list.

Marcos Tebar was a doubt with a hamstring strain, but is named among the substitutes for the Bees.

Brentford: Button, Bidwell, Dean, Djuricin, McCormack, Kerschbaumer, Judge, Diagouraga, Vibe, Barbet, Clarke
Subs: Bonham, Tebar, Woods, O'Connell, Williams, Udumaga, Canos

Preston North End: Pickford, Vermijl, Clarke, Huntington, Cunningham, Browne, Kilkenny, Johnson, Doyle, May, Garner
Subs: Kirkland, Woods, Wright, Welsh, Brownhill, Humphrey, Keane
