Thomas Frank provides an injury update on the Brentford squad as he hopes to have Bryan Mbeumo back to face Aston Villa this weekend.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has provided an injury update on his team ahead of their latest Premier League fixture against Aston Villa.

The Bees will be in action on Sunday, where a victory would see them leapfrog their opponents in the table, but the club are dealing with a number of fitness issues at the moment.

Rico Henry, Vitaly Janelt, Christian Norgaard and Charlie Goode all missed the recent defeat to Manchester City, while Bryan Mbeumo was also unavailable with a calf issue.

"Rico is out, but Bryan we hope will be available for Villa but it really will be touch and go," Frank told the press.

"We hope Rico will be back for the Liverpool game next month."

Brentford have lost their previous three matches heading into Sunday, and have failed to keep a clean sheet since November 28.
