Tite has opted to leave Richarlison out of the Brazil squad for the upcoming friendlies in order to allow the forward an opportunity to work on his fitness.

Richarlison has been left out of the Brazil squad for the upcoming November World Cup 2022 qualifying games.

The Everton forward also missed the previous international break due to the knee problem that he has been dealing with since September and Tite has opted to leave him out of the squad again.

Richarlison returned to Everton's squad last weekend after spending a month out of action due to his injury, which he sustained against Burnley.

"He is one of a number of athletes who are important and who, at the moment, you make a choice for those games. He returned to training with the group on October 18; his minutes are still small," Tite told Globo Esporte.

"This is also a factor that makes us believe that he needs a little more playing time for him to improve his physical condition."

Richarlison was used as a substitute during Everton's most recent performance, which was a 5-2 defeat against Watford, although the Brazilian did manage to get on the scoresheet.
