Team News: Andy Johnson out for Queens Park Rangers

A "slight injury" sees Andy Johnson sit out Queens Park Rangers' visit to Blackpool in the Championship.

Queens Park Rangers striker Andy Johnson misses his side's Championship clash with Blackpool this afternoon owing to a "slight injury".

New signing Yossi Benayoun, who joined the R's until the end of the season, is also left out by manager Harry Redknapp but Nenum Ohuoha is named among the substitutes.

Blackpool boss Paul Ince welcomes back Kirk Broadfoot after a one-game ban, but defender Gary MacKenzie is missing for the home side, having picked up a hip injury. Bradley Orr continues to be sidelined with a thigh problem.

The Tangerines, who are currently seventh in the Championship, know that a win may push them up into the playoff spots as they go in to the game level on points with Nottingham Forest and Reading above them.

Blackpool: Basham, Broadfoot, Cathcart, Robinson, Ferguson, Osbourne, Gosling, Delfouneso, Ince, Davies

Queens Park Rangers: Green; Simpson, Dunne, Hill, Assou-Ekotto, Phillips, Carroll, O'Neil, Barton, Jenas, Austin
