Birmingham City manager Lee Clark expects Nikola Zigic, Chris Burke departures

Nikola Zigic and Chris Burke are both likely to leave Birmingham City this summer, according to manager Lee Clark.

Lee Clark has conceded that both Nikola Zigic and Chris Burke are "unlikely" to be Birmingham City players next season.

The pair are both out of contract at St Andrew's and having held discussions with both of them, Clark believes that neither will commit their future to the Championship club.

"It is looking unlikely that Chris and Nikola will sign new contracts, so I'd like to take this opportunity to thank both players for their efforts," he told the club's official website.

"As crowd favourites, there's no doubt that both players will go down in the club's history and we wish them well for the next stages in their career."

Serbian striker Zigic arrived at Birmingham from Valencia in the summer of 2010, while Burke joined 12 months later following a stint with Cardiff City.
