Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Barcelona could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

Barcelona boss Xavi faces a big decision over whether to start Gavi for Wednesday's crunch Champions League match with Bayern Munich in Group E.

The teenager was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury in the defeat to Real Betis but reportedly did not suffer a concussion and has since taken part in training as normal.

However, it would still be a surprise to see him passed fit for Wednesday given the immediate turnaround, while Ansu Fati, Sergio Aguero, Pedri, Martin Braithwaite and Sergi Roberto also remain absent.

Clement Lenglet was given the nod alongside Ronald Araujo for the Betis defeat, but Gerard Pique will certainly hope to come back into an otherwise unchanged defence.

Should Gavi not be deemed ready to start at the Allianz Arena, Nico Gonzalez should hold his place as Frenkie de Jong returns in the engine room alongside Sergio Busquets.

With Fati reportedly losing his battle to be ready for Wednesday, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele could both support Memphis Depay in the final third.

Ez Abde has been enjoying a consistent run of games in La Liga, but Xavi may deem it too big a risk for the 19-year-old to start at the Allianz Arena.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Dest, Araujo, Pique, Alba; Gonzalez, Busquets, De Jong; Dembele, Depay, Coutinho
