Mirandes hold Barcelona B

Mirandes move out of the relegation zone in Spain's second tier by securing a point in the 1-1 draw with Barcelona B.

Mirandes have moved out of the relegation zone in the Liga Adelante by holding Barcelona B to a 1-1 draw at the Mini Estadi.

The Catalans, who sit 15th in Spain's second tier, took the lead on 25 minutes through midfielder Edu Bedia.

However, the advantage proved short-lived as the Burgos-based outfit hit back two minutes later courtesy of a strike from Igor Martinez Caseras.

It proved enough for the visitors to claim a draw as Gonzalo Arconada's men won the point necessary to see them move above Hercules in the division on goal difference.
