Brighton & Hove Albion place a £100m valuation on Moises Caicedo amid interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal, according to a report.

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly made it clear to interested clubs that Moises Caicedo will not be allowed to leave the club this month for anything under £100m.

The Ecuador international's future remains the subject of much speculation, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool believed to be interested in signing him during the January transfer window.

However, according to The Times, Brighton are under no pressure to sell, and the Seagulls would want at least £100m to consider sanctioning his exit before the end of the month.

Caicedo is believed to have cost his Premier League club in the region of £5m from Independiente del Valle in 2021, and he has only made 31 appearances for Brighton in all competitions.

Manchester United were one of a number of clubs linked with the midfielder two years ago, but the Red Devils ultimately decided against a move.

Caicedo has been a key player for the Seagulls during the 2022-23 campaign, making 21 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist in the process.

The midfielder recently insisted that he is "focused on Brighton" amid the transfer speculation.

"I have been focused on doing things very well and to be up there fighting for a good position. I am focused on Brighton," he told his club's official website.

"I handle [the speculation] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club where I am now, the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week."

Meanwhile, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi said last week: "It is difficult to change with another player now at this stage. I hope he finishes the season with us, but it's always difficult to be certain.

"When big teams want our players, it's good news for the club. The best solution is that he finishes the season with us and for him, in the summer, it's better then if he changes teams.

"I don't know if he will continue to play like this – the last games – it is possible he can leave for another team [in the summer]."

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he wants to sign another midfielder before the January transfer window closes for business, while both Chelsea and Liverpool are believed to be looking to add in that area over the next week.

Caicedo has helped Brighton pick up seven points from their last three Premier League matches, playing the full 90 minutes in the contests with Everton, Liverpool and Leicester City.
