Hertha Berlin announce the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Bradley Ibrahim from Arsenal on a permanent deal.

Arsenal have confirmed that 19-year-old midfielder Bradley Ibrahim has left the club to join Hertha Berlin on a permanent deal.

The 19-year-old ends his association with the Gunners after a four-and-a-half-year spell in North London, having left the Queens Park Rangers academy in the summer of 2019.

Ibrahim made an impression at Under-18 level with four goals and three assists from 41 matches, while he also added one goal and four assists from 22 games for the club's Under-23 side.

Last season, the teenager made the bench for two Europa League fixtures with Bodo/Glimt and PSV Eindhoven, and he was named in a Premier League squad for the first time in November's 3-1 win over Burnley.

However, Ibrahima has now departed for Germany without making a single senior appearance for Arsenal, and he has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with 2. Bundesliga side Hertha until 2027.

"I was really happy about the interest from Hertha BSC. The club has a great history and gives young players the chance to establish themselves as professionals. I want to use mine and keep developing," Ibrahim told the Hertha Berlin website.

Sporting director Benjamin Weber added: "We have always been clear that we will keep an eye on the market and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. That was the case with Bradley. He is an exciting defensive player with great qualities and a lot of potential, who should strengthen us for the future."

Arsenal will continue to focus on outgoings for the remainder of deadline day, with no new faces expected to arrive at the Emirates Stadium before the 11pm cut-off point.
