Arsenal have recorded three consecutive victories since losing 3-1 to Chelsea in last month's WSL meeting at Stamford Bridge.

They began their fine run of form with a 3-1 win over Aston Villa, before they claimed a 1-0 extra-time victory against Chelsea in the League Cup final.

After winning silverware at the end of March, Arsenal returned from the international break with a dominant 5-0 win over basement side Bristol City thanks to braces from Beth Mead and Alessia Russo as well as an Ella Powell own goal.

That result moved Arsenal nine points clear of fourth-placed Man United, leaving them well-placed to secure Champions League qualification.

The Gunners still have a mathematical chance of winning the WSL title, with six points separating them from Man City and Chelsea ahead of the final four matches of the season.

Jonas Eidevall's side will hope to keep their faint title hopes alive by claiming a ninth consecutive home league win in Sunday's clash with Leicester.

Leicester will have to pick themselves up after experiencing disappointment in last Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.

The Foxes led for the majority of the contest after Finland international Jutta Rantala opened the scoring in the 12th minute.

However, they were unable to hold onto their slender advantage as Jess Naz equalised in the 83rd minute to send the tie to extra time, before Martha Thomas scored a 118th-minute winner to quash Leicester's cup dreams.

They will now turn their focus back to league matters, with the Foxes set to wrap up the campaign with games against Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham United and Liverpool.

Leicester are hoping to claim their first points against Arsenal, having lost their five WSL meetings by a combined 20-2 scoreline.

Team News

Eidevall has revealed that Frida Maanum, Laia Codina and Kyra Cooney-Cross are all in contention to feature in Sunday's matchday squad.

However, Arsenal will be unable to call upon the injured duo of Lia Walti and Vivianne Miedema, while Lina Hurtig remains unavailable due to personal reasons.

Katie McCabe is likely to return to the starting lineup after dropping down to the bench for the win over Bristol City.

As for the Foxes, they remain without the injured trio of Denny Draper, Courtney Nevin and Hannah Cain.

Despite seeing her side fall just short in the FA Cup semi-final, interim boss Jennifer Foster could be tempted to select an unchanged lineup for Sunday's contest.

Shannon O'Brien is set to provide an option off the bench after she returned from injury to feature as a substitute against Spurs.

Arsenal Women possible starting lineup:
D'Angelo; Fox, Williamson, Wubben-Moy, McCabe; Pelova, Little; Mead, Russo, Foord; Blackstenius

Leicester Women possible starting lineup:
Kop; Bott, Green, Howard, Cayman; Rantala, Tierney, Takarada, Momiki, Rose; Petermann

We say: Arsenal Women 3-0 Leicester Women

After Arsenal cruised to a 6-2 victory in November's reverse fixture against Leicester, we think that the Gunners will showcase their extra quality to clinch another comfortable win in Sunday's fixture.
