AC Milan earn last-gasp draw in Bologna thriller

AC Milan scored twice in the last two minutes to complete a remarkable comeback at Bologna tonight, salvaging a point in a 3-3 draw.

The Rossoblu went into tonight's clash without a win this season and fell behind after 12 minutes as Andrea Poli broke the deadlock for Milan.

Poli angled a low drive into the far corner after meeting a flick inside from Robinho, helping the Rossoneri forget about Mario Balotelli's absence through suspension.

Milan had a chance to extend their advantage soon after as Alessandro Matri headed wide of the target, with the visitors made to pay for that miss soon after.

The hosts equalised before the break as Inter Milan loanee Diego Laxalt burst past Cristian Zapata, before firing home from close range.

Things went from bad to worse for Milan early in the second half as Laxalt doubled his tally, with the Uruguayan finding space in the area to head his side into the lead.

On the hour mark Bologna doubled their advantage as Jonathan Cristaldo met Alessandro Diamanti's cross, giving Milan a mountain to climb in response.

Philippe Mexes then smashed the bar in anger as Allegri's men seemed to be slipping to a third defeat in five league games, but all that changed in the closing stages.

First Robinho bundled home from close range to set up a grandstand finish, before Ignazio Abate's dramatic stoppage-time equaliser levelled the scores.

There was still time for more action as Diamanti struck the crossbar deep into added time, but both sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
