Team News: Aberdeen make one change for St Johnstone trip

Defender Russell Anderson starts for Aberdeen in place of Ashton Taylor for their Scottish Premiership visit to St Johnstone.

Aberdeen have made just one change for this afternoon's visit to St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

Manager Derek McInnes has drafted in defender Russell Anderson in place of Ashton Taylor, who started in last weekend's 2-0 win at Kilmarnock.

Former Norwich City and St Mirren midfielder Simon Lappin was tipped to make his debut for the home side, but has been made to settle for a place on the bench.

Dave Mackay features in the Saints defence after having his red card against Celtic overturned.

St Johnstone: Mannus; Mackay, Easton, Millar, Anderson; Scobbie, Croft, Brown, McDonald; MacLean, Wotherspoon

Aberdeen: Langfield; Logan, Anderson, Reynolds, Considine; Jack, Flood, Pawlett, Hayes; McGinn, Rooney
