Oprah Winfrey reveals that Prince Harry's alleged conversation with a senior Royal about his son Archie was not with The Queen or Prince Philip.

Oprah Winfrey has revealed that The Queen and Prince Philip were not involved in an alleged conversation about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie.

During a bombshell interview that aired in the US last night, the couple claimed that Harry had had a conversation about Archie where an unnamed member of the Royal Family shared "concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he is born".

Appearing on CBS This Morning today, Winfrey said that she held an off-camera chat with Harry after the interview was filmed and while he refused to reveal the identity of the Royal in question, he confirmed to her that it was not his grandmother The Queen or his grandfather Prince Philip.

"He did not share the identity with me," she said. "It was not his grandmother and not his grandfather who were part of those conversations. He did not tell me who were part of those conversations."

The interview airs in the UK on ITV at 9pm tonight.
