ITV's live daytime output has been suspended due to an evacuation of Television Centre in London.
This Morning was broadcasting live as usual until around 12.15pm, when the programme switched to a 'best bits' highlights segment for its final quarter of an hour on air.
Loose Women was due to be live on ITV from 12.30pm but that too was switched for a highlights programme due to Television Centre's evacuation.
Reports on social media have suggested that the iconic building was emptied as a precaution after a suspect package was found nearby. The tube stations Wood Lane and White City have also been closed due to the incident.
In an update on Twitter, the Loose Women account posted: "We apologise for the break in live programming today. We are currently running pre-recorded content and hope to be back with you soon."
Although the show is not expected to be back on the air today, ITV's schedule will resume as normal from 1.30pm with the ITV News followed by pre-recorded afternoon programming.
