Channel 4 has commissioned a one-off documentary telling the story of Lucy, winner of acclaimed show The Piano.
The 13-year-old, who is blind and neurodivergent, reduced audiences to tears when she took to a train station piano in Leeds - and did the same again at a climactic concert at the Royal Albert Hall, broadcast last week.
"Seeing Lucy in the competition naturally made millions of viewers curious about how she had managed to nurture her talent," a C4 source told The Sun.
"Her story is incredible and deserves to be shared with the wider world, not least because she could inspire other people, as well as their loved ones who may be in a similar situation."
The 60-minute programme is slated to be broadcast on C4 later this year.
