Applications have officially opened for the BBC's reboot of Survivor UK.
The iconic reality show - a physical and psychological competition - has been a huge hit in the US for more than 20 years, but a previous attempt at a UK version by ITV was axed after just two series.
Now, two decades on, the BBC is rebooting the format with a new series for primetime BBC One in 2023 filmed in the Dominican Republic - and the call for contestants has now gone out.
Would-be participants can apply to take part online before the deadline of February 23, 2023.
The application also confirms that the prize fund for the winner will be £100,000 - significantly less than the £1m given to the winners of the ITV original.
The closing date for contestants suggests that the show will be recorded in the spring and early summer, with a broadcast likely in the autumn - potentially alongside Strictly Come Dancing on Sundays.
