Russell Grant has revealed that he recently underwent a lengthy operation to remove a brain tumour which could have cost him his eyesight.
The celebrity astrologer, who had a memorable stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, is now unable to sneeze, blow his nose or travel abroad for the next six months to prevent any complications.
Talking to The Mirror, the 71-year-old said that he had consulted with astrologer friends to determine the optimum date for the surgery and thanked his doctors for moving their theatre days to 'complement the astrologicals'.
"I am now on the road to recovery," he added. "There are a few complications to sort out so the post-op stuff has already started."
Grant now intends to have a long-awaited knee operation, which has been delayed by almost three years due to coronavirus.
