Kim Cattrall will make a one-off cameo in the new season of And Just Like That..., it emerges.

Kim Cattrall will make a surprise return as Samantha in the upcoming second season of And Just Like That..., it has emerged.

The actress was absent from the first season of the Sex and the City spinoff due to a long-running feud with former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, although her character was involved in a text exchange with SJP's Carrie.

According to The New York Post, Cattrall filmed a "cliffhanger" scene in March that is likely to serve as the final moments of season two.

Cattrall is not believed to have filmed the scene with any of her former co-stars and it is also unclear whether her scene is set back in the Big Apple or in London, where Samantha is now said to be based.

A source told the newspaper: "The fact that they're keeping it very hush-hush says that there's some implication that she might be coming back - not this season, but it's definitely a cliffhanger that's gonna get people to come back for Season 3."

And Just Like That... season two is released on June 22 on Max in the US and on the same day on Sky Comedy in the UK.
