Gregory Itzin, known for playing the duplicitous President Charles Logan in 24, has died at the age of 74.
The actor was also a familiar face in the Star Trek universe, playing five different roles across multiple series, and had recurring roles in shows including Friends, The Mentalist, Big Love and Hawaii Five-0.
News of Itzin's death was revealed on Twitter by 24 executive producer Jon Cassar, who wrote: "My friend Greg Itzin passed away today.
"He was one of the most talented actors I had the honor to work with, but more than that he was an all around great guy.
"He'll be missed by his 24 family who had nothing but love & respect for him. You made your mark, now Rest In Peace friend."
Itzin is survived by wife Judie and their two children.
