The BBC has taken the decision to delay broadcast of the first episode of Celebrity Race Across The World following the earthquake in Morocco.
Almost 3,000 people have so far been confirmed dead as a result of the 6.8 magnitude quake, which struck near Marrakesh on Friday.
Celebrity Race Across The World features four celebs, each partnering with a family member, taking part in a race from Marrakesh all the way through continental Europe to end in Tromso, Norway.
Episode one had been due to air on BBC One this Wednesday at 9pm but has now been replaced in the schedules by an old episode of DIY SOS.
A BBC statement confirmed: "In light of the earthquake in Morocco we have taken the decision to postpone the first episode of Celebrity Race Across the World, which was filmed in Marrakesh."
The first episode will now play out one week later than first planned on Wednesday, September 20.
