E4 has reportedly commissioned a new show called Celebrity Treat which will see famous faces try out extreme health and beauty treatments.

The remedies on offer to the eight stars taking part include being covered in snakes, bee-sting acupuncture and drinking urine.

A source told The Sun: "Celebrity Retreat is a new show coming to E4 and it will show eight stars trying out some of the strangest wellness treatments around.

"Forget mindful yoga and lazy mornings in the sauna, in this series the celebs will be having treatments only the brave would pay to try.

"The production is still in the early stages and nothing is off the table.

"There is even talk of bee-sting acupuncture, drinking urine and using bloodsucking leeches to stimulate the skin.

"Naturally all the procedures do have some benefits and they are casting eight open-minded stars who are prepared to go on a journey.

"There will be experts on hand who will be guiding the celebs throughout the experience.

"This is a first of its kind show and E4 is excited about the end result."

Celebrity Retreat is expected to air on E4 either later this year or in early 2023.
