Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh confirmed as Strictly's fourth contestant

Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh is named as the fourth celebrity taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh has been confirmed as the fourth celebrity taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The lineup for the BBC ballroom contest has now been finalised and is being announced over the next fortnight - and yesterday the first three contestants were revealed to be comedian Caroline Quentin, former NFL player Jason Bell and The Wanted singer Max George.

Singh, 43, was unveiled as the latest addition on this morning's edition of GMB, where she works as political editor and a primary relief presenter.

"The initial feeling of being confirmed for Strictly is one of complete terror - feels like embarking on a rollercoaster, where you really want to do it but you are equally scared," she said.

"Hopefully after the first dance I will feel exhilarated rather than sick!"

Due to coronavirus the new series will be nine weeks long instead of the usual 13 and will begin in late October on BBC One.
