The White Lotus and You actor Lukas Gage says that he is "very much in love" as he confirms his relationship with Chris Appleton.

Lukas Gage has confirmed his romance with Chris Appleton for the first time, describing himself as "very much in love".

The 27-year-old actor - star of You and The White Lotus - has previously refused to comment on his private life or his sexuality, but has now opened up about his relationship with Appleton after the British celeb hair stylist revealed earlier this month that they are dating.

"I think this mane needed to be tamed," Gage joked of his new hairstyle during an appearance on The Today Show. "This boy also needed to be tamed."

"I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love," he continued. "He's a good-looking man.

"There's something about being in London. I think I got a taste of the Brits and couldn't help myself.

"We have fun together. We go on adventures. He's the best."

Gage will next be seen in his self-penned gay comedy-horror movie Down Low, due out later this year.
