Katie Price's ex-husband Kieran Hayler strongly denies historical allegations of rape.

Katie Price's ex-husband Kieran Hayler has denied "false allegations" of rape amid an investigation by Sussex Police.

The 34-year-old married Price in 2013 and had two children with the former glamour model, but they split in 2018 and finalised their divorce last year.

Hayler has now found himself being interviewed by police over a claim that he raped a woman in 2016 - allegations that The Sun claims were made by his ex-wife in recent weeks.

A spokesperson for Hayler said: "Kieran is very saddened by these false allegations, and is happy to fully assist the police and co-operate fully to ensure he is quickly vindicated.

"But he is keen not to get into a public dispute and would prefer to rectify this matter with the police as quickly and calmly as possible, and continue to focus on his own life and future."

Sussex Police said: "We are investigating a report that in 2016 a woman was raped by an adult male known to her at a location in West Sussex.

"No arrest has been made. The woman is receiving support from specially trained officers."

The news comes weeks after Price received a suspended jail sentence for crashing her car while under the influence last September.
