The trial of Kevin Spacey for sexual offences has concluded for the week after hearing in-person testimony from the third of his accusers.
The 63-year-old is appearing at Southwark Crown Court defending 12 charges of sexual offences against four different men between 2001 and 2013.
On Wednesday the court heard a recording of a police interview with the third accuser, who alleged that Spacey had forcefully grabbed his penis at a charity event and subjected him to a series of sexualised questions, including about his penis size and sexual proclivities.
Today the man appeared in court to give evidence - from behind a curtain to protect his anonymity - and was accused by defence lawyer Patrick Gibbs of lying to police about Spacey making such comments.
"With the greatest of respect you weren't there," the man replied, "and I was and it was horrific and I've never had anyone speak to me in that way.
"I think it's the phrase, 'hiding in plain sight'. It was like a machine gun, a torrent, and that's all I can say – it went on and on and on."
Having also been accused by Gibbs of falsifying Spacey's grab of his genitals, the man responded: "I remember saying 'no, no' and pushing him away. I didn't scream, I didn't shout.
"When something like that happens you don't respond the way you think you might. No-one has the right to invade your space and to touch you in that way."
Spacey denies all of the charges against him.
The trial continues.
