Katie Price's ring 'taken during alleged assault'

Katie Price's engagement ring - worth £50,000 - was reportedly taken during the alleged assault on her earlier this week.

Katie Price reportedly had an engagement ring worth £50,000 stolen from her during her alleged assault earlier this week.

The 43-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning to receive treatment for facial injuries, and in a brief statement afterwards she revealed her shock at what she described as an "unprovoked" attack.

Police arrested a man in his 30s, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on suspicion of "assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour" although he has since been released on conditional bail until September 20.

According to The Sun, in addition to being assaulted, Price also had her seven-carat engagement ring taken in the incident.

A source told the newspaper: "Katie no longer has her ring. It cost thousands but went during the incident."

Price has yet to post on social media since the alleged assault.
