Graham Norton 'used to date Drag Race contestant'

Graham Norton reportedly had a six-month relationship with RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Tina Burner, it emerges.

Graham Norton once had a relationship with RuPaul's Drag Race star Tina Burner, it has been claimed.

The 57-year-old comedian serves as a judge on the UK version of the show, which has just begun its second series on BBC Three, while Tina - real name Kristian Seeber, 40 - is competing on the current season of the US version.

According to the Huffington Post, Norton spoke about his six-month relationship with Seeber in his 2014 book The Life And Loves Of A He Devil, describing him as "tall and broad-shouldered with an easy smile that took up half his face".

"The experiment lasted for about six months and it was a disaster," he wrote. "I realise that even to a perfect stranger the outcome would have been glaringly obvious, but when you are in the middle of something and you are desperate for it to work, you'll try anything."

Norton added that his friends had not warmed to Seeber during their time together, admitting that if he "were to be judged solely on his behaviour, then I concede he was not great boyfriend material".

New episodes of Drag Race UK are released Thursdays at 7pm on BBC Three, while new episodes of the US version become available Saturdays at 8am on Netflix in the UK.
