Doctor Alex updates fans after tragic death of brother

Doctor Alex George gives his fans an update on how he is doing after the tragic death of his younger brother Llyr a week ago.

Doctor Alex George has reassured fans that he is "still going" after the death of his younger brother.

A week ago the 30-year-old shared the heartbreaking news that he had lost his sibling Llyr "to mental health" just weeks before he was due to start medical school.

George has gained a legion of new followers over the last few months thanks to his regular videos filmed on the coronavirus frontline, but he is now taking a step back from social media following the tragic development.

Writing on Instagram Stories on Thursday night, he said: "So many of you are checking in on me so I want to say thank you and let you know I am still going.

"In time I will be ok."

Llyr's cause of death has not been revealed.
