Caitlyn Jenner: 'Kanye is a really good guy'

Caitlyn Jenner comes to the defence of Kanye West, describing him as "the most kind, loving human being".

Caitlyn Jenner has come to the defence of Kanye West amid his ongoing health issues, describing him as "a really good guy".

The rapper is believed to be in the midst of a serious episode of bipolar disorder and embarked upon a series of bizarre Twitter rants a fortnight ago, claiming that he has been trying to divorce Jenner's daughter-in-law Kim Kardashian for almost two years.

West has since issued a public apology to his wife as he recuperates at his ranch in Wyoming and, appearing on Good Morning Britain this morning, Jenner was asked for an update on how he is doing.

"Honestly, I don't know," she replied. "Since all of this has come down, I've kind of just watched it go down. He's living in Wyoming.

"I wish him well. He's a really good guy. He's been the most kind, loving human being and so good to me throughout the years and he's been the best friend. He's extremely supportive."

Kardashian paid a visit to her husband a week ago but is now thought to be back in Los Angeles.
