BT Sport will show next week's Spanish Super Cup, including a semi-final match-up between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

BT Sport has secured the rights to this season's Supercopa de Espana, the broadcaster has announced.

The four-team tournament, which is being staged in Saudi Arabia, begins next Wednesday, January 12 with an el Clasico semi-final between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid will play 2020-21 winners Athletic Bilbao in the second semi-final, which will take place on Thursday, January 13.

The final will then be staged at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah on Sunday, January 16.

Premier Sports has been the UK home for most Spanish football over the last few seasons, including top-flight La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
